Job summary

Quality Beverage is hiring reliable warehouse associates to join a fast-paced team in Taunton, MA. This is a union position (Local 170). You will pick and load cases and work a night shift Sunday through Thursday 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM.

Candidates must follow safety rules, read orders, and repeatedly lift about 50 lbs. Certified to operate forklifts or related equipment is preferred. Benefits include medical coverage after hours, sick leave, a company-funded pension, and overtime eligibility.

Quality Beverage is looking for reliable, hardworking, warehouse employees to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a union position (Local 170).

Hourly Rate: $22.55 per hour

Hours: Sunday – Thursday 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM

Position Overview:

Picking and loading cases in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Individual will be required to join local Union.

Key Accountabilities:

• Picking cases and bottles
• Drive over dock plates onto vehicles
• Repetitively lift, push, pull, bend, and reach cases averaging 50 lbs
• Palletizing cases on pallets for delivery

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to demonstrate effective use of safety rules including proper lifting
• Ability to read and record orders, inventory, and pallet tickets with a skill level normally acquired through high school education
• Ability to lift cases averaging 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height
• Ability to operate a two-wheeled hand truck, pushing and pulling weights exceeding 150lbs

Education/Experience/Training:

• Certified to operate the following Material Handling Equipment: forklifts (both stand up and sit down models), order pickers, electric jack, electric pallet jack preferred
• High school diploma/GED preferred
