Job summary

BrightFarms is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the overnight 2nd shift in Yorkville, IL. The role involves shipping, receiving, inventory control, and equipment operation, including forklifts. We offer full benefits starting day one and a focus on safety and food quality.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with powered equipment, and a team-oriented attitude. Competitive hourly pay includes a $2 night differential, totaling $23/hr on nights.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating powered equipment to load, unload and move materials.
• Knowledge of GMP/GWP.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Must be a team player and show attention to detail.
• Must be able to work with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in compliance with plant rules and practices safety, conduct, sanitation, and housekeeping.
• Demonstrate operational excellence in shipping, receiving, and storing materials.
• Achieve high customer satisfaction through proper auditing of materials received, shipped, and stored.
• Perform inventory cycle counts, verifications and reconciliations as required.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
• Ensure shipments and inventory transactions are accurate and recorded in a timely manner.
• Interface with 3PL providers to answer questions or solve problems.
• Maintain item records, documents, and utilize reports to project warehouse status in the system.
• Review and coordinate activities with other departments and leadership.
• Keep work area clean and perform housekeeping on equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
