Job summary

Staff Perm in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Warehouse II - Forklift operator for a Monday–Friday shift from 6am to 3:30pm, with overtime. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, packing, and shipping goods, and maintaining accurate records.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pull orders, and ideally hold forklift certification for standup and sit-down models. A valid driver's license and basic reading, writing and numerical skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.
