Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Night Warehouse Selector in Charlotte, NC to safely and efficiently pick and palletize customer orders in a fast-paced distribution center. The role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and safe operation of equipment including electric pallet jacks, with pre-shift checks and adherence to productivity standards.

Starting pay is $20.86 per hour with incentive opportunities; top performers can earn up to $35 per hour.

Qualifications

• English reading and communication required for trainings and safety coaching.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday, with occasional weekends/holidays.
• Recent experience in high endurance or highly physical activity in past 6 months.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders safely and accurately, ensuring products are correct and undamaged.
• Palletize: construct and wrap pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks.
• Fulfill orders using order selecting software and transfer to pallets.
• Stage products to dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Collaborate with team to keep aisles clean and equipment organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
