Job summary

US Foods is hiring a Night Warehouse Selector in Zebulon, NC. The role focuses on safely and efficiently selecting and preparing customer orders in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate electric pallet jacks, palletize, and transfer products using order selecting software, with expectations for accuracy and productivity. Starting pay is $20.23 per hour with potential up to $42 per hour; benefits begin Day One and include health insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and disability

Qualifications

• Must read and communicate in English to attend trainings, hold conversations, read labels and enter information.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday–Thursday, weekends/holidays may be required.
• Recent experience in high endurance or highly physical activity.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Selecting: Safely and accurately select customer orders, confirming that selected products are correct and undamaged.
• Palletizing: Construct and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.
• Operation: Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks.
• Fulfillment: Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.
• Staging: Transport products to the designated dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Collaborate: Work with the team to maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area.
• Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.
