Job summary

US Foods is hiring a Night Warehouse Selector in Coralville, IA. You will safely and accurately pick customer orders, build and wrap pallets, and conduct pre-shift checks on an electric pallet jack. You’ll move products from racks to pallets and ensure accuracy and damage‑free items for delivery to the dock.

This full-time role offers overtime and incentive pay, benefits from day one, and a path to growth within a leading food distributor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings and enter information on reports.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday–Thursday; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Recent experience in high endurance or physically demanding roles preferred.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders.
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that the correct product is selected and undamaged.
• Deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders.
• Collaborate to clear aisles of debris and return pallet jacks to charging area.

Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy* Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet* Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment* Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free* Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized orders* Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area**Physical Requirements*** Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required* Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required **What You Bring to the Table*** ***Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed**** Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday.
