Job summary

US FOODS® in Marrero, LA is hiring Night Warehouse Selectors to prepare customer orders with safety and accuracy. You’ll work 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday through Thursday, with overtime and incentive pay possible.

Starting pay is $16.98 per hour, with additional incentive compensation; benefits start Day One, plus health, dental, vision, 401(k), ESPP and life insurance. Candidates should have recent high‑endurance or physically demanding work experience and be able to lift 20–80 lbs.

• Lifting/transferring equipment/loads up to 20-80+ lbs; move 1,000+ cases per shift.

Main Ingredients of the Job

As a US FOODS® Night Warehouse Selector you will be responsible for preparing customer orders that grow our business, instilling and reinforcing safety above all else. We TEAM UP to deliver exact and damage-free orders. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.

What You Bring to the Table

• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday.
• At times weekends and holidays will required
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred
• Lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $20.03/hr - $36.75/hr.

As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation, incentive compensation based on productivity and quality.
