Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Warehouse Associate Receiving Clerk to support daily receiving, inspect shipments, and verify items and quantities. The role runs Monday–Friday, 10:00pm–6:30am, with a pay rate of $20/hr and opportunities for training and growth.

You will verify items against P.O.s, inspect packaging, label items, and scan into the warehouse system while ensuring safety guidelines and quality standards are met. This is an on-site warehouse position.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet customer needs.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required in some locations.
• Internal certification to drive powered equipment within specified time requirements.
• Internal certification to pick DOT-regulated items, if required.
• Stand, lift up to 75 pounds, and perform other physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Verify products and match packing slips to P.O. using item and vendor numbers, descriptions, and quantity through visual inspections, counting, reference manuals or measuring instruments.
• Inspect boxes for damage or improper packaging, and resolve discrepancies.
• Create and apply bar code labels and scan into the warehouse system.
• Handle inbound transfers between warehouses.
• Operate basic powered equipment (pallet jack, forklift); move product as needed.
• Stage product for put-away bins and racks.
• Train cross-functionally to support business requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in Work Clean program.
