Job summary

Mile Hi Companies in Denver, CO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, stock and move products in freezer and dry storage environments. You will operate stand-up forklift, verify manifests, and enter goods into inventory.

• Follow proper lifting techniques and handle cases safely.
• Notify supervision of damaged or short loads promptly.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Receive and stock products to freezer and dry storage.

Responsibilities

• Uses power equipment (stand-up forklift) to unload products from common carrier trailers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Uses hand-held device to verify shipping manifest and enter received goods to inventory.
• Uses power equipment to place product into proper storage racks.
• Uses proper lifting and material handling techniques when hand-stacking cases.
• Promptly notifies supervision in the event ofdamaged or short loads.
• Other duties as assigned.

Have the cognitive skill to accurately match numbers and numerical sequences to written and electronic file displays.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with keyboarding skills and ability to learn software for data entry and report usage; knowledge of PTM software is helpful.
• General knowledge of Fleet operations, equipment and terminology.
• General accounting knowledge with one-year experience in a general office with A/P, or A/R responsibility.
• Knowledge of DOT record keeping requirements.

Physical Needs

• Able to work in a noisy environment with fluctuations in temperature.
• Must be able to climb staircases.
• Have the ability to work from foot and from standing and seated powered equipment orextended periods of time (up to 2 consecutive hours without break).
• Must be able to lift, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Required PPE:

• Steel toed shoes
• Freezer suit (in the freezer area only)
• When changing batteries – mask/full face shield, bib, gloves
