Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, store, and distribute materials across the operation. You will read schedules and orders to pick materials, move items from receiving to storage, and prepare orders for shipping while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include sorting, stocking per product codes, weighing or counting items, and assisting in the billing process as needed. Prior experience is helpful, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and prepares for shipping.
