Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, store and distribute materials and products in a fast-paced Texas facility. You will read schedules and orders, move items, and prepare shipments with attention to accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include sorting and organizing stock, counting and recording items, and using a computer to log transactions while supporting ongoing operations and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 0–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and follow production schedules.
• Willingness to operate in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedules, customer orders, and shipping orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts and stores materials by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fills requisitions and distributes items to production workers or packing; prepares for shipping.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves.
• Marks materials with identifying information and records quantities received or distributed.
