Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Carrollton, TX to support receiving, storage, and distribution of materials for our client restaurants.

You will read schedules, move and store items, pull orders for packing and shipping, and transport materials locally as needed. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and offers on‑the‑job training with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fills requisitions and distributes items to production workers or packing/shipping.
• Assembles customer orders and prepares them for shipping.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
• Records amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution and assists in billing.
• Arranges stock parts by location for assembly by others.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items for shipment.
