Job summary

Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the night shift at our Grand Rapids depot. This role directs production and staffing, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced distribution center.

Responsibilities include coaching direct reports, coordinating with managers, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory guidelines. Competitive benefits and a starting salary of $65,000–$71,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse management or leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience.
• Minimum 7 years of sorting/picking or production in a warehouse/distribution center (food and beverage preferred).
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and stay on their feet all shift.
• Experience with union environments is a plus.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and operations while delegating daily assignments.
• Oversee training, performance coaching, and development of direct reports.
• Coordinate with assistant managers to meet goals and shift needs.
• Monitor safety, PPE, and compliance with regulations and policies.
• Maintain payroll and employee information logs as needed.
• Oversee hiring, discipline, and personnel actions for direct reports.
