Job summary

Great Lakes Wine and Spirits is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Night Shift at our Livonia depot. The role entails overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating with management, and ensuring accuracy and safety while meeting nightly objectives.

Applicants should have 2–3 years in a warehouse lead role with WMS, 5 years in sorting/picking, and the ability to operate material handling equipment. Competitive pay, benefits, and 401(k) are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse lead or supervisor role using warehouse management systems.
• 5 years of experience sorting and picking in a warehouse distribution center (food and beverage industry preferred).
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Must be active and on your feet for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance and assist fellow managers with daily assignments.
• Communicate with management and team members to facilitate operations.
• Mitigate safety issues, monitor breakage, and ensure PPE and safety guidelines are followed.
• Open/close/reset work areas and audit drop zones for accuracy.
• Train, coach, and develop staff to meet nightly objectives and company goals.
