Job summary

Staples is seeking an Asset Protection Associate for its distribution center on the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 7:30 PM–4:00 AM). You will implement security, safety, and loss prevention programs across the facility and partner with leadership to safeguard people and assets.

Ideal candidates have experience in asset protection or security in warehouse settings, with strong attention to detail and communication skills to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in warehouse operations, security, loss prevention, asset protection, or related field.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute physical security, safety, and loss prevention programs within the Distribution Center.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, intrusion, fire, and burglar alarm systems.
• Manage front desk, lobby, and switchboard operations.
• Verify visitor authorization and ensure proper escort protocols.
• Conduct bag checks for associates and visitors to prevent theft and shrink.
• Monitor entrances, parking lots, yards, and surrounding property for security concerns.
• Analyze security data to identify loss prevention opportunities and mitigate risk.
