Nationwide Children’s Hospital seeks a Vascular Access RN for night shifts at the Main Campus in Columbus, OH. The role involves inserting and managing pediatric vascular access devices, with education for families and collaboration on policy improvements.

Shifts are 7p–7a, 36 hours per week, every third weekend and holiday rotation, with benefits eligible. Ohio RN licensure required, BSN preferred or ADN with plan to complete BSN.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Current RN license in the State of Ohio.
• 1 year post orientation related clinical experience in area of specialty preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Inserts and manages vascular access devices for pediatric patients.
• Monitors devices for infection, occlusion, and extravasation.
• Provides education to patients and families on care and maintenance.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to develop vascular access policies.
