James Madison University is seeking a Trades Utilities Night Supervisor to oversee a crew of 6–10 employees on the night shift. The role focuses on handling work orders, emergencies, and coordinating maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related trades.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of building maintenance crafts and systems.
• Ability to supervise employees and maintain open communication.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to perform manual labor and diverse trades.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and direct utilities staff.
• Handle emergency calls as needed.
• Record building maintenance needs and repairs.
• Track work orders and assign tasks to team members.
• Repair or redirect work orders to the FM department.
• Electrical duties: install/repair lighting, fixtures, outlets, and emergency lighting.
• Plumbing duties: troubleshoot/repair/install faucets, valves, lines, and water conditioners.
• Carpentry duties: install/repair ceilings, floors, doors, hinges, and shelving.
• Fabrication/maintenance of building fixtures from various materials.
