Job summary

Pattison Company is seeking an Underground Miner on NIGHT Shift to join our Clayton, Iowa team. You will be responsible for all aspects of raw material extraction in our underground mine, operating specialized equipment and transporting materials to the crushing line. Extensive safety training is provided, with a focus on teamwork and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• MSHA Part 48 certification or training provided on-site.
• Ability to operate heavy underground mining equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Participate in drilling and blasting operations.
• Scale rock faces to maintain mine stability.
• Operate underground mining equipment including jacklegs and stopper drills.
• Assist in mine maintenance and general support activities.
• Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections and maintain records.
• Follow safety regulations and communicate with team to ensure safe operations.
