Job summary

P&K Stone, LLC is seeking a dependable Night Plant Operator for the Mill Creek Quarry in Mill Creek, OK. This role oversees safe and efficient operation of crushing, screening, and conveying equipment during night shifts, ensuring production goals and product quality while conducting routine inspections and maintenance.

The position requires experience with heavy equipment in mining or industrial settings, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work overtime and varying shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (loaders, skid steers, telehandlers, or excavators).
• Experience in aggregate, mining, construction materials, or heavy industrial operations.
• Ability to work safely in a mining, quarry, or industrial environment.
• MSHA Part 46 or Part 48 training.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; No visa sponsorship.
• Basic welding, fabrication, or mechanical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor crushing, screening, conveying, and related processing equipment.
• Control plant operations to ensure consistent material flow and production.
• Perform routine inspections of crushers, screens, conveyor systems, motors, drives, and other plant equipment.
• Monitor equipment gauges, controls, and warning systems to identify potential operating issues.
• Adjust equipment settings and material flow as needed to maintain product quality and production goals.
• Identify and separate materials to ensure customer and job specifications.
• Communicate with supervisors, quality control personnel, and other plant employees to maintain safe operations.
• Assist Quality Control with material blending adjustments and production modifications.
