Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring for a 3rd shift Unarmed Security Officer at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing site in Missouri. The role requires previous security and customer service experience, with duties including access control, visitor screening, and patrols to deter threats.

Flexible, physically active work is expected. Compensation starts at $18.50 per hour with a 40-hour workweek (Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00pm–5:00am).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state licensing is required.
• Maintains professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills are needed.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• Occasional physical activity including crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage guest/visitor access and handle ejections when necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a visitor log and notify residents of arrivals.
• Assist in protecting people and property while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior to help prevent vandalism and theft.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas to identify safety risks.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering or prohibited items.
• Respond to distress calls or emergencies and contact first responders as needed.
• Identify and report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Ensure timely submission of required reports.
