Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring for a 3rd Shift Unarmed Security Officer at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Troy, Missouri. The officer will deter crime, protect property, enforce access control, and provide courteous customer service on site.

The role requires prior security and customer service experience, a valid state license, and physical fitness to stand/walk for extended periods. Shift runs Wed–Sun, 9:00pm–5:00am, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid state licensing
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience
• Minimum of one year of security experience
• Able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• Physical requirements: crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access and eject trespassers when necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/ vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of arrivals
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies
• Monitor and detect suspicious behavior to help prevent vandalism or theft
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the interior/exterior perimeter to identify safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions (loitering, smoking, prohibited items)
• Respond to distress calls, alarms, or emergencies and contact local responders
• Identify and report safety or security concerns promptly
• Ensure accurate/submission of required reports/documents
• Enforce all rules/regulations and follow procedures
• Other duties as assigned by management
