Job summary

Banner - University Medical Center Tucson is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging following orders, protocols, and established methodologies. You will produce and present images with timely documentation while educating patients and collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

This role requires equipment quality control, adherence to safety standards, and a strong commitment to ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Requires national certification in one area of specialty from ARDMS/CCI/ARRT.
• Uncertified hires must obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Completion of an approved Ultrasound program.
• This position requires 0–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs all ultrasound exams following orders and protocols.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and treatments.
• Performs equipment quality control and ensures readiness of imaging areas.
• Collaborates with radiologists and providers during procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to safety standards.
