Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• 1 year of modality-specific experience preferred.
• ARDMS/ARRT(S) certification must be obtained within 12 months.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate, and record data.
• Review physician requisitions and patient preparation instructions.
• Perform portable exams in a variety of settings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and order supplies as needed.
