Job summary

Core-Mark International in Corona, CA is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to manage the day-to-day transportation operations, ensure timely delivery of goods, and supervise drivers for DOT compliance and safety.

You will lead a team of drivers, monitor fleet performance, coordinate with operations, and execute strategies to optimize routing, costs, and service levels while maintaining a safe, compliant, and customer-focused distribution operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 2+ years in transportation with DOT and safety knowledge.
• 1+ year leading a team of 10–15 drivers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and manage staffing, training, and performance.
• Coordinate scheduling and ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Oversee DOT compliance and driver payroll calculations as needed.
• Maintain safety through vehicle checks and proper equipment use.
• Track driver licenses, tickets, accidents, and safety data.
• Improve routes and reduce transportation costs with effective planning.
