Job summary

Opus Inspection, Inc. in Colorado is seeking a full-time Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on emission testing equipment, manage parts inventory, and document activities under supervision.

The role supports station management with timely equipment issue resolution; night shift Mon-Fri 3:30 PM–12:00 AM; standard 40 hours weekly. On-site location in Arvada, CO; strong attention to safety and operational excellence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to Emission Testing Equipment.
• Participate in company-provided training for Equipment such as Computers, Peripherals, Printers, Gas Analyzers, Dynamometers, RPM Units, OBD Units, Bar Code Readers, Pneumatics.
• Perform parts inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
• Complete necessary paperwork and record all maintenance and repair activity.
• Provide station management with phone consultation regarding immediate equipment issues when not yet on-site.

Job Purpose

The Equipment Technician performs preventative maintenance and repairs on emission testing equipment, manages parts inventory, and ensures accurate documentation. This role provides essential support to station management and requires a proactive approach to operational excellence under the direction of the Systems Support Manager.

This is a full-time position; standard hours are 40 hours weekly.

• Nighttime Technician Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
