Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all inspection equipment.
• Travel to troubleshoot equipment and analyze documentation.
• Perform maintenance and overhaul of instruments.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and calibration schedules are met.
• Maintain inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
• Complete necessary paperwork and reports.
• Consult Inspection Facility Management on immediate problems.
• Support State audit teams as needed.
• Perform other tasks as required by the Systems Support Manager.
• Travel to inspection facilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Location: 1171 Breuckman Dr, Crown Point, IN

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p, one Saturday per month

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all inspection equipment in all program environments as needed
• Travel to various program locations to troubleshoot equipment and analyze relevant documentation to determine the cause of malfunctions in major test equipment, test setups, and test procedures.
• Perform maintenance and overhaul of instruments and equipment.
• Ensure that all preventive maintenance, calibration, and vehicle maintenance schedules are met.
• Maintain inventory and requisition supplies as needed
• Complete the necessary paperwork, report on assigned work, and assist in the completion of records, reports, and other test documents.
• Provide Inspection Facility Management with a telephone consultation regarding immediate problems.
• Provide support to State audit teams as needed.
• Perform other tasks as required by the Systems Support Manager.
• Travel to visit all program inspection facilities as needed
• Other duties as assigned
