Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse to support the Inpatient Unit and Oncology/Clinic areas. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and provide essential patient education and care in a high-acuity environment.

The role requires 3 nights of 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), with responsibilities across telemetry monitoring, sedation administration, and coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in Telemetry.
• Arizona Registered Nurse License or a Compact State RN license.
• BLS certification required upon hire and renewal every 2 years.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and renewed every 2 years.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certificate within 6 months of hire and renewed every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Work 3 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
• Provide staffing to multiple patient care areas including Inpatient Unit and Oncology/Clinic areas.
• Administer and monitor sedation/analgesia per physician order and hospital protocol.
• Interpret and operate cardiac and other invasive and noninvasive monitors; identify rhythms and intervene.
• Administer medications via all routes using the 6 rights and monitor for side effects.
• Care for patients with IV lines, central lines, ports, and chest tubes.
