Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a night shift, full-time Telemetry Intermediate Care Stepdown (IMCU) Registered Nurse. You will perform nursing processes, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families with compassionate care.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and NJ RN license, with ACLS/PALS obtainable within three months.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 1+ year of RN Med/Surg experience required.
• Current NJ RN license.
• ACLS and PALS obtainable within first 3 months of employment.
• Basic Arrhythmia Training required.
• Ability to initiate IV therapy, collect blood, perform point-of-care testing, EKG, phlebotomy within 3 months.
• Ability to manage airway including ventilation.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patient health by completing the nursing process; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
• Supervise assigned team members and coordinate care across shifts.
