Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a Night Shift Telemetry IMCU Registered Nurse. You will promote and restore patient health by performing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and providing support to patients and families.

Requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, NJ RN license, ACLS and PALS within three months, and BLS within 14 days. One year Med/Surg RN experience preferred; Epic experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
• 1+ year RN experience in Med/Surg
• NJ State RN license required
• ACLS and PALS within three months of employment
• Basic Arrhythmia Training completed or obtainable within three months
• IV therapy, blood collection, POCT, EKG, phlebotomy within three months
• Airway management including ventilation
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patient health by completing the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
• Supervise assigned team members.
