Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a night shift Registered Nurse for Telemetry Intermediate Care Stepdown (IMCU). The position requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and NJ RN license, with ACLS/PALS obtainable within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license.
• Minimum 1+ year of RN Med/Surg experience.
• ACLS and PALS obtainable within first 3 months.
• Basic Arrhythmia Training completed or obtainable within 3 months.
• Ability to initiate IV therapy, draw blood, perform EKG, and phlebotomy within 3 months.
• Ability to manage airway including ventilation support.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patient health by completing the nursing process and coordinating with physicians and the care team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and staff; supervise assigned team members.
