Qualifications

• Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene (bathing, dental, hair, nail care).
• Assist patients with bowel and bladder functions while maintaining dignity.
• Record intake and output and transport specimens for lab analysis.
• Change and transport soiled linens and maintain clean patient environment.
• Assist with activity, turning and repositioning as ordered by the provider and in collaboration with the nurse.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to the nurse and set priorities for care.
