Qualifications

• Experience in cardiac surveillance or approved EKG class.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and telemetry findings.
• Respond to telemetry alarms and follow arrhythmia management protocols.
• Ensure telemetry equipment is applied, functioning, and clean.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on telemetry equipment.
• Precept and support new telemetry technicians as needed.
• Document procedures, enter test results, and prepare reports.
• Communicate patient concerns and equipment issues to nursing leadership.
• Collaborate to promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
