Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Manager Inpatient Telehealth Programs to drive the telehealth initiative for acute care. You will oversee the Telesitter and related programs, coordinate with hospital leadership, and manage budget and staffing to improve access and care quality across the network.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and healthcare operations experience, with a focus on compliance and program effectiveness across the telehealth portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as listed above.
• Five years of progressively responsible staff experience in applicable field (or three years with a Master’s).
• Experience in clinical management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor operations of the Telesitter department to support clinical activities.
• Serve as project manager for emergency department/inpatient acute care consult network (Telesitter, Telepsychiatry, Telestroke).
• Oversee development, coordination and budgeting of program components; ensure objectives are met.
• Provide guidance to staff; assist in staffing, budgeting, and policy implementation.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices and maintain regulatory compliance.
