Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Surgery/Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery (TACS) seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty medical care within community hospitals.

Located in Menomonee Falls, WI at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, the APP will work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on excellence in patient care, safety, research, and teaching.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) is required.
• DEA Eligibility is required for practice.
• APRNs must have Wisconsin APRN licensure and national certification.
• Physician Assistants must be licensed in Wisconsin and NCCPA certified.

Responsibilities

• Admit, discharge, manage, and provide consultation for surgical specialty patients.
• Provide in-person coverage at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and virtual coverage for Froedtert West Bend Hospital.
• Collaborate with surgeons teams to deliver care.
• Provide 24/7 coverage to community surgery practices.
