Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is hiring for an Overnight Street Sweeper in Columbia, SC. You’ll operate a street sweeper on night shifts, complete inspections, and follow safety protocols to keep streets clean and safe. Eligible for a pay raise after six months.

Qualified candidates have a CDL-B, a DOT Medical Card, and at least 1 year of DOT driving experience, with strong compliance and reliable attendance essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience; waste & recycling experience preferred.
• Licenses: CDL-B and DOT Medical Card.
• Age: Must be at least 21.
• Compliance: Pass MVR, background check, and drug screening per policy.
• Must maintain acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Operate street sweeper on assigned routes.
• Follow safety procedures and traffic laws at all times.
• Complete required logs and manifests.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
