Job summary

Walmart in United States (St. Albans, VT) seeks a store leadership professional to lead and develop teams, teach training, and use feedback to drive store operations. You will model exceptional customer service and oversee initiatives that promote a high-quality shopping experience.

You will manage budgets, forecasts, and merchandising to hit sales goals. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and change leadership as part of Walmart's operational standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and firearms training may be required.
• Associate will attend and complete required trainings (Academy/Open Door).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback.
• Model and demonstrate customer service standards by following the One Best Way service model.
• Drive the financial performance and sales of the store area by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, hiring, training, mentoring and setting clear expectations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and support company mission, values and ethics.
