Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to help keep our shelves ready for a great day of shopping. You'll stock shelves, move products from pallets, pull backstock, and maintain a clean, organized store environment while providing friendly customer service.

You'll work with leadership to complete tasks on time, handle overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead, and use basic technology to follow procedures. This entry-level role offers weekly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
