Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure our shelves are stocked and ready for customers, delivering friendly service and product knowledge with efficiency and a positive attitude.

This entry-level role involves stocking groceries, moving products, and partnering with leadership to meet deadlines while maintaining a clean, safe store environment. You will work overnight to prepare the store for opening and support additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role focused on customer service and merchandising.
• Stock shelves and support store operations.
• Work overnight shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
