Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to deliver great customer service with product knowledge and friendly, efficient service. This entry level role involves retail tasks from stocking to merchandising and daily store upkeep.

As a Stocking Clerk you will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, tidy back-stock areas, and collaborate with leadership to meet deadlines while maintaining a safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Able to learn and use basic technology.
• Able to follow established processes and procedures.
• Able to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
