Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and ready for customers. This entry-level role focuses on delivering friendly service, maintaining organization, and assisting with daily retail tasks related to merchandising and product knowledge.

Qualifications

Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
Ability to follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
Keeps calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
Enjoys being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
