Job summary

Safeway, part of Albertsons Companies Inc., is seeking a Stocker to keep shelves stocked and the store ready for customers. During the day you will stock products on the floor, assist customers in locating items, and answer questions. Overnight shifts focus on deliveries, stocking, and display resets with no customer traffic.

You will also handle backroom organization, rotate inventory, and maintain clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and assist customers on the sales floor.
• Prepare store for overnight deliveries and resets.
• Move products from backroom to sales floor and rotate inventory.
• Keep aisles clean and organized and maintain displays.
