Job summary

WinCo Foods in Renton, WA seeks team members to maintain stock, assist customers and operate material handling equipment. The role involves night shifts from 9:00 pm to 9:00 am and requires a focus on security, safety and accurate stocking.

Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, interacting with customers, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Food Handlers Certification may be required by state law. This position is part of our 24/7 operation in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, courteous service to customers is expected.
• Oral and written communication skills are important.
• Must be able to work nights in a 24/7 operation and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes, engages, serves and thanks customers with a helpful attitude.
• Maintains product quality; stocks, rotates, faces, discards spoiled items.
• Cuts boxes and places small containers on shelves.
• Maintains safety, security and sanitation in the work area.
• Orders products, cuts cases, stacks, prices and marks merchandise.
• Builds product displays and operates hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Performs duties with honesty and integrity.
• May perform checking duties with friendly customer service.
• May train other employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
