Job summary

SpartanNash, part of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family, is hiring in Niles, Michigan. The role involves stocking and displaying products, assisting in back-room tasks, and maintaining clean, well-stocked departments to support guest experience and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma (GED) and retail experience is preferred. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and to work in a retail environment with variable temperatures.

Qualifications

• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Properly fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines and Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
