Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stock Assistant Manager to lead the night shift in Grocery, ensuring trucks are unloaded efficiently and stock is organized for the next day. You will play a key role in product availability and store presentation during overnight hours.

The role requires leading a team, enforcing standards, and coordinating with store leadership. The position offers a paid hourly wage with potential overtime and benefits typical of Hy-Vee stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Overnight stock supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set and uphold department standards for service, cleanliness, sanitation, and profitability.
• Supervise overnight stock crew, assign duties, monitor productivity, and conduct check-ins.
• Oversee ordering from the warehouse including pre-orders for grocery and supplies; coordinate with other managers.
• Review and maintain the RPM system and inventory processes.
• Unload trucks, break down pallets, and check in vendor deliveries piece by piece.
• Train new employees on stocking, customer service, and procedures.
