The Sterile Supply Technician 1 position with Thisiscny in Syracuse, NY focuses on decontamination, setup, and verification of equipment for patient use. You will assist with prioritizing requests, document shift reports, and support staff within the Central Equipment Services unit.

Qualificações

• Nationally accredited central service technician exam and current certification from a recognized credentialing body.
• Evidence of employment as a Central Service Technician in a healthcare facility for a cumulative period of one year between Jan 1, 2011 and Jan 1, 2015.
• Knowledge of PPE, cleaning techniques, and basic computer skills (data lookup, data entry).

Responsabilidades

• Decontaminate, set up, and verify equipment for issue.
• Oversee collection, processing, and delivery of equipment to patient areas.
• Assist in prioritizing work and complete shift reports; call in staff as needed.
• Answer phones and greet visitors; maintain call data accuracy.
• Train new staff and perform data entry in the computer system.
