Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST through HSPA within 12 months; CBSPD equivalent acceptable.
• Six months sterile/reprocessing experience preferred; case cart experience helpful.
• Computer proficiency with Centricity Preoperative Manager and basic word processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare case carts for each surgical procedure and print pick lists.
• Verify procedures, locate supplies, and restock carts for OR and related areas.
• Transport and receive carts and instruments; insure proper decontamination and loading.
• Perform cleaning, decontamination, and high-level disinfection per SOPs with PPE.
• Document sterilization cycles, logs, and instrument set issues for action.
