Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Pulaski, VA is looking for a 3rd shift Materials Inspector (10pm–6:30am) to inspect, separate and stack pallets, frames and lids. Ensure quality standards are met and log materials on the sorting sheet.

Responsibilities include responding to requests for assistance, notifying supervisors of quality or safety issues, maintaining equipment, and promoting safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and separate material according to Quality standards.
• Distinguishes different material and understands inventory and inventory control.
• Responds to requests for assistance in a timely manner.
• Ensure materials is logged appropriately on the sorting sheet.
• Notifies supervisor of any quality or safety issues.
• Maintains effective interpersonal working relationships and functions as a team member.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
