Job summary

Bogus Basin in Idaho seeks a Snowmaking Supervisor to assist the Snowmaking Manager across 75+ acres of trails, overseeing the Night Snowmaking Crew to maintain snow quality for skiing and snowboarding. This year-round, full-time role requires evening and night work in a harsh outdoor mountain environment with variable weather.

You will hire, train, and coach the night crew, set up guns and hoses, ensure safety, and coordinate with grooming for optimal conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with snowmaking and snowmobile operation preferred.
• Ability to work long hours at night in outdoor mountain conditions.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment and work as part of a team.
• Ability to pass background checks and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up fan snowmaking guns and maintain snow quality.
• Direct night snowmaking crew; hire, train, and schedule staff.
• Coordinate with grooming to build trails and ensure safe operations.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and equipment.
• Ensure safety requirements are met at all times.
