Job summary

Bogus Basin Recreational Association Inc. is hiring a Snowmaking Supervisor to support the Snowmaking Manager on over 75 acres of trails.

This year-round, full-time role will oversee the Night Snowmaking Crew to ensure quality grooming, skiing, and snowboarding conditions, with work scheduled for evenings and nights. Responsibilities include setting up fan snowmaking guns, adjusting hydrants, operating snowmobiles, connecting hoses, and enforcing safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in snowmaking or snowmaking operations preferred.
• Ability to work long hours at night in outdoor mountain conditions.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift and move weights as required.
• Background check ability.

Responsibilities

• Set up fan snowmaking guns.
• Check and adjust air and water hydrants to maintain snow quality.
• Operate snowmobiles towing equipment and hoses.
• Hook up and clean snowmaking hoses and equipment.
• Ensure safety requirements are met at all times.
• Directs the night snowmaking crew and oversees hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Prepare, carry out, and update daily work lists and tasks.
• Work with grooming team to build trails and snow surfaces.
• Prepare and conduct training sessions for the team.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and out-buildings.
