Job summary

Baptist Health in Downtown Jacksonville seeks a Registered Sleep Technologist for the Sleep Center. This full-time night position provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, performing polysomnography and daytime sleep studies.

You will assist under medical director supervision, maintain patient safety, score studies, and ensure accurate testing. Required: active sleep lab experience, BLS, BRPT-RSPGT, and PEARS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Polysomnography experience in clinical setting.
• Experience providing patient care in a sleep lab.
• BLS certification required.
• BRPT Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RSPGT).
• PEARS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Polysomnography diagnostic and therapeutic services.
• Patient care and safety in sleep studies.
• Education and patient instruction.
• Perform daytime sleep studies on adults and pediatrics.
• Score daytime sleep studies with pediatric scoring training.
• Review charts to validate medical necessity and accuracy of testing.
